Lucasarts can lick my stinkeye

Post by Nightshade »

I finally picked up Star Wars: Empire at War because I found it for $20 today. Fucking Securom bullshit made it so I had to uninstall Daemon Tools and run a batch file to fix the drive info in the registry before I could play the fucking game. I don't think I'll be buying another game any time soon.

I recommend stabbing George Lucas in the eye, preferably with your cock.

LucasArts is gayer than semen-covered horseshit trampled by an Aussie. They've ruined perfectly good titles by rushing their developers just for a pathetic attempt at increased profits.

That's most likely what I'll end up doing. I'm just highlighting the fact that video game studios are fucking irritating, because it doesn't matter what the fuck I have installed on my PC. I bought the game, I should be able to play it without having my machine in a condition that they find satisfactory.

But you might be teh piraet!

Getting in the way of pirates gets in the way of consumers, and you get less of both.

It seems to me as though Valve's doing it the right way.

Nah, not all of them. You get the idiots who can't figure out how to circumvent protection. Pirates aren't always smart.

For every single game I buy I get a no cd crack for it the same day I install it.

From the get-go...no fuss...no muss. It's a habit I think everyone should enjoy.

I have for some, others haven't required it. The fact that I would need to just points out the complete idiocy of the whole situation.
