Any good single-player mods out there?

Hey, new here, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any good single-player mods for Q3A. I checked the ModDB, and there's only three there; two of them are unfinished and apparently abandoned. And the one that is finished? It's a Winzip. (keep reading)

So, does anyone know of any good SP Q3A mods?

P.S. My computer tends to disagree with Winzip, so I naturally prefer .exe files. You can feel free to post .zip files for others who may also be looking for a good single-player experience with Q3A. :E

No, there's little in the way of singleplayer mods. There's no singleplayer code in Q3 so it's as well to just build a new game as it is to add singleplayer functionality into Q3.

The ones that have floated around from time to time have been pretty poor.

That's what Q4 is for....Q2 also.. Q3A is a game focused on being locked in deathmatch forever...arena eternal.

Q3 was built in such a way to make an actual campaign single player virtually impossible. The single player options built into it are fairly half assed.

Actually...Medal of Honor:Allied Assault was made using the Q3 Engine. It's not a mod though.

Pre-source code days where pretty limited I think since anything heavily single-player oriented was not possible and at best you could design something that resembled an arena type game. Now with the source-code you could dish out any type of game you want.

I remember our dear friend kiltron released a q3 single-player type mod called Bones: Legacy Of The Vadrigar, but there are no more valid download links for it, at least I haven't seen any http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Bo ... tnG=Search

You can always have defrag as a quick SP solution.
Or you can try time attack for bot play.
For example, you load q3dm6 with default bots with the hardcore skill and see how long do you take to win this map.
After that you upload your demo as a proof. :icon32:
