"Stay" - 6.8/10 on IMDB
with Ewan McGregor

An entertaining movie that messes around with your perception of reality. The plot is pretty open-ended, leaving it up to the viewer to speculate about what's happened. Not the best movie in the world, but if you have a free sunday afternoon or evening, it's certainly very entertaining.

The Departed: 8.5/10 Even at 2.5 hours, the movie flew by. Very good....the ending was a little too tidy, and a wee bit unsatisfying.

Edit: after seeing it a second time, it moves up a point. Fucking Alec Baldwin :olo:

MUST FIND TORRENT :(
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

that reminds me of the only thing i hated about the film - the venue. as far as viewing quality goes, we might as well have stayed at home and watched a bloody screener.

got to the multiscreen/bowling/shopping/eating complex at 7:30, which is when the film (i.e. the half an hour of adverts before the film) starts and the movie was already running. sat down and rubbed my eyes because the screen looked blurry - it was. for the next half hour, people in the auditorium shouted up at the projection booth until the little sack of pus and hormones playing the movie pulled his thumb out of his arse and focused the picture.

i saw his little face at the window for a moment, while a higher ranking half cow/half monkey helped him push whatever large, clearly marked button he needed to push. and he looked just like this fucker:

pretty good. but sean penn seems to confuse acting with "walk around with a sad look on your face" sometimes
