Xbox PC connect

Post by bitWISE »

Does anyone use the media center connection with their 360? I don't have media center installed but I have the Zune version setup on XP Pro and the media playback is stuttering as if 100 mbps isn't enough bandwidth to stream and mp3. Tips?

Check your throughput between the machines (transfer a file from the PC and use the network monitoring utility on CTRL-ALT-DEL menu)

Gotto be something else wrong there I use the media connect on XP and no stutters when playing MP3s during games while hard wired.

i do. Zune software is a massive hog, ditch it. you get the same functionality by installing WMP11.
the original Windows Connect is no longer available (bitches >:E) which sucks because that used very little ram..

I've been using Media Center that came with Vista, and it works great.
