A lot of people would say it's a bad idea, on your first day out of prison, to go right back to stalking the tranny hooker that knocked out five of your teeth. But that's how I roll..

fucking fantastic film. been a while since i've seen a movie kinda like this so it hit the spot. now i wanna watch it and see how many times i can decipher the number 23
oh and it's worth it just to see the opening credits alone. it's a piece of art.
it wasn't exactly awful, but MAN those discreet effects get old when you overdo them like that.
The dialogues were bad, the adversaries weak and generic, Nick Cage's muscle suit and hairpiece ridiculous, but overall I can't say I hated it.
I just hope they hire some better writers and get some better effects for the next one.
One question though: The old Ghost Rider (Sam Elliot) said "Yeah I just used up my last transformation into the ghost rider, so I have to leave now."
WTF? You saved your LAST GR transformation for like 100 years or more only to ride through the desert with the new guy?
What was that all about? The movie seemed like they cut a lot of stuff. Another example is the first fight, it felt really incomplete.
wanted to see that ghost rider thing until i found out that the same guy made daredevil
'Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist' - 3/10

worth watching just for the pre-title sequence.
suprisingly for a renny harlin movie - this isn't plodding, incoherent dogshit. even more suprisingly for a christian-themed movie, it isn't too badly riddled with the whole invisible friend thing either. Stellan Skarsgård is a great lead and plays up the detective feel to the story well.
this is paul schrader's original cut and it's easy to see why the studio dropped it in favour of harlin's. it sucks.
rocky balboa, you can't take it seriously, but it was fun to watch in the sense of - dear god, why i am i watching this tripe, i want to poke my own eyes out with my cock.

And shepherds we shall be, for thee my Lord for thee, Power hath descended forth from thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out thy command, we shall flow a river forth to thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine patris, et fili, et spiritus sancti.
not sure how people can say thats the best bond ever, thats not a bond flick. quarter of the movie the play cards.. yawn.. the super villian.. erm.. can count cards and wants to earn some money the foul way... wow.. where is the evil genius with their super weapon bond needs to stop.. there is action right, but there is no bond action. where are his cool gadgets? ... nothing left.. he is even a pussy and fell in "love" ... bahh. next.
the departed 7/10
hmm i don't know, possibly i expected to much of an mafia flick. i liked jack, as always. but not sure the hole plot was not very special and prolly the movie was too long and felt stretched. can't see how it won the oscar as best movie, but well.. *shrug*
pan labyrinth 10/10
just wow... impressive dark fairy tale. partly very violent with some cool monster designs. this guy with the eyes in his hands.. combined with his sounds.. felt very creepy. very good movie.
