Hi, I'm kind of new to Q3A, and I've been playing for about a week or so, trying to get a godly railgun aim like everyone else. :P

Anyway, I've been doing a great deal of work on my configuration file, and I'm running into a little snag reguarding forcemodel and team games. Forcemodel and model in FFA games works fine, I set my model to keel/red, forcemodel to 1, and everyone shows up as keel/red, like its supposed to.

However, in team games, setting my team_model to keel and forcemodels to 1 makes everyone show up as sarge instead of keel. I much prefer keel, as it's easier to see compared to sarge, but it's just plain not working for tdm/ctf.

Any suggestions? I can post my config if it helps...

Please do and could you tell us the mod(s) you are playing?

This problem occours with baseq3. I even tried recreating my config from scrath last night (I dont put things into my config file unless I know what the commands do and can see tangable effects, I don't use other people's configs). Once team models work in baseq3, I'll be fine, as setting up forced models is loads easier with the mods I use (arena, threewave, cpma).

I'm afraid you're out of luck then, forcing team models doesn't work in VQ3 - it's a known bug.
