I don't clean it much - maybe once every 2 months.

Less cleaning = more seasoning.

Obviously I clean off the grate every time I use it. But that's just a matter of letting the grill heat up, then scraping it really well with a copper brush.

I only got it last summer though. I'm going to have to give it a thorough cleaning this spring before I start grilling heavily again.

It should only take a couple hours to do that - if that long.
