What sort of meters do you use? Do you have them calibrated? How do you determine what's a "paranormal" reading on a meter vs something of mundane origin?

I recently started collecting rocks. I used to collect em when i was a kid too. Fun shit, I got out my dremel and I'm doing a bit of carving.
