ITs ON! I have received hundreds of emails of those after seeing 300 that want to join the Legions. UNfortunately only those that survive the trials will stand with us as we face the entire FPS community, every clan every team and defeat them all!

Also, I had heard much of it during high school. After seeing the movie and leaving it I was stunned and went before Horka Thane with my report. He saw it in my eyes before I even spoke and said “Now you know where we stand in History! Now you know why I started the Legions of Thane!”
He then went on to state “ You see we are at a cross roads in history here, our country the United States is being thrust back into the war of 480 B.C. The Persians are back! They now call themselves Iran and they see us as the Greeks since we got our democracy from them in the first place. They intend to win the war that they lost after the great sacrifice by Leonidas and the 300 Spartan hoplites (Elite Spartans), which united Greece against them.
As was then at that time there are traitors in our current government whose pockets are being lined with the coin of our enemies, they are known as the Liberals and take many forms whether it be Republican or Democrat.
The Legions of Thane mission is to not only win the battles in the Quake Wars Game but to illuminate the current threat and rise a Leader that will do what it is necessary to put down the Persians once and for all! To ignite the fire in the military Leaders of this great nation to DO WHAT MUST BE DONE NO MATTER WHAT THE COST OR THE ORDERS OF THE HOUSE, THE SENATE OR THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION!
The military Elite need to take a walk with Leonidas again!"

The Spartans in the purist definition were the greatest warriors of all human history. For this nation to survive we have to become the greatest nation in all history and to do that we must throw out all the weak non nationalistic in our government. All those who have any power must prove their devotion to this nation by performing an act of pure unselfishness’ heroics of some shape or fashion. Plus, in any war, the commander and chief must place the vice president in charge and be on the battlefield with his Generals and troops as it was done in ages past.
