Query: Why is iTunes a bloated piece of shit?

Post by feedback »

No but really, I'm trying to install the 30 megabyte update to hopefully get rid of some crashing bugs, and it tells me partway through the install "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."

Helpen
I love quake!

This is better than the official quicktime installer.

Just do the basic setup and add quicktime/realplayer alternative. You should first remove quicktime from your system though.

if you are looking for an alternative for your ipod, Get what Jepp is talking about along with Songbird with the ipod plugin.

Good luck!

Delete your temp files, reboot, then try the install again.

don't forget anapod (not free) or winamp with the ipod plugin are both great.
