It's because people don't produce high quality enough maps to have tactical and strategic play be apparent advantages from the get-go. p-q3dm6 had a few years to evolve into a real 1v1 map with everyone having played it so much, ztn was almost a direct hit. Make a better map, get the right talent to play it, and they will come :D
I agree!

I saw 10 different version of the q3dm6.

You also have to consider that professional players play in a different way from other players(even hardcore players). You watch a demo from a pro player and play the same map, but the feeling is different.

Now you're talking. :icon25:

By the way what is the relationship between ztn and dmmq3dm?
What the hell is dmmq3?
Why are they so large in scale?

Well...they were hooked up by a friend of ztn, and they went out to the bar. The drink bill got pretty high up there, and they were wasted drunk....like shit faced. They ended up kickin it off in one of the bathroom stalls, and after he left he got pulled over for too much swerving on the road..and had to do three months behind bars.
She ended up getting pregnant off of the ordeal and ended up having a few baby environments...one of which ended up on Q3Radiant. Quite amazing actually. :tear:

Underlined the important part. That's often easier said than done, but I agree with you in general. :)

It's pretty obvious, from either looking at their websites, or looking at map readmes, that Lunaran and ztn are two entirely different individuals. I realize that A1yssa changed subjects in mid-thread, but this really isn't hard to figure out with a little looking around.

The dmmq3 maps were a series of maps released back ~2000 that were intended to push current vid card technology. They included textures that were (at the time) very high resolution. I couldn't remember the details, so used Google to figure this out. It took me about two minutes.

Why do you seem unwilling (or unable?) to use Google to gain basic information? I am honestly baffled by this.

Also, I like cake.
What is cake? Why are some cakes large and some small? What is the relationship between cake and electroencephalography? Also, is a urinal cake something different, or is it made of normal cake?

Maybe you already know this and just like the sleeping emoticon because you find it cute. Which is fine, because I think that you think that Fox Mulder is cute.

BTW, what's the relationship between "dynamic level planning" and "organic mapping"? I heard that urinal cakes taste like tiramisu and like cheesecake on Wednesdays.

You can take them to mean whatever you like. But since you're presumably attempting to communicate something by posting them as part of a message, only a fool would use something which everyone else understands as having a different meaning.

If you want to convey amusement, you might want to use the :olo: icon. This is, you know... DURRRRR territory.

Sadly, I have seen Sailor Moon. What's even worse, is that on some odd level, I somewhat enjoyed it, if only on a "WTF?" kind of way. I mean, come on, Tuxedo Mask? Reminds me of Captain Mazda for whatever reason.

If memory serves me well, ztn quit on account of him being put behind bars.
Is this true?

Given your nick, you'd defenately be a liar now :P
but then I can strangely imagine him being queer enough to get behind bars since his dm1 for q3 is simply that amazing! :paranoid:
