Quake 3 Instagib Server help

hello, i am trying to create a mini server for me and some of my friends to muck around with and i dont know what the commands to enable the railjump, no fall damage, and grappling hook on the regular instagib mod.

there are many instagib mods so commands vary.
there is most likely FAQ's and text documents in your instagib mod folder that can help you out.
check those .. gl gg

i didnt get any files in the instagib folder when i downloaded it, besides instagib.pk3

You downloaded it from the server, I assume? You'll want to google a bit for the full version (or take a look at the stickies, that's what they are for).

can any 1 help me!!!

when ever i try playing online it just says "no respnse from master sever" is there something wrong with my quake or is it just thats i need to locae some next ever or some shit?

i seroiusly need help coz i don't know how 2 use it !!!! email me

I've was playing OpenArena quite regularly for a month or two, a while ago, so if like you can get a spanking session on one of the servers.

Aye, I know how it is. I recently landed this programming job with an ISP in Zwolle (of all cities) and I'm doing 40 hours a week now. Things like that tend to be quite detrimental to one's gaming time.

The pay's good though, so I'm not complaining too much.

I suggest we find ourselves a server sometime soon, just the two of us, and engage in some old-fashioned you-know-what.

PS: did you ever finish that study of yours?

I definitely did! Now it's Oeloe BSc.

Of my education I'm using the little programming (mostly C) that I learnt mostly now, since I'm developing/maintaining a PHP+MySQL project now. Started out with basically zero knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, the DOM structure, javascript etc. but I think I've become pretty fluent at most of them (since I got this job +-7 months ago). :icon31:

May I be so bold as to inquire what kind of application you're nurturing?

The monstrosity I'm working on is http://www.thedailywtf.com-worthy: a content management system that, amongst other things, uses XSLT to dynamically generate PHP code and runs on a Perl build from - I kid you not - 1999! Never mind the fact that the source is spread out over approximately 300 directories and God knows how many files...

It's pretty fun, though: it makes for some good tales from the trenches.

the no response error usually means you arent connected to the internet or have a firewall blocking the Q3 port

you need to update the version, other wise tyou have to keep rebooting the game :icon27:
