Another quick question. What is an easy way to format an 80GB drive to FAT

Right-click drive in my computer, choose format
fat32

What OS? IIRC, Win2000/XP won't format FAT32 drives larger than 32GB.
Instead, you can use a Win98 Startup Disk.

also, Get the Manufacture's Tools disk ( maxtor and wd both have them ) and it will run a dos and beable you to format 32+ gig FAT32 parition.

Worked fine, thnaks.
I found Maxblast and there are 2 of them. One is for a floppy and it works well.
The other is to be writen on a CD and it says on the site that it can also help with having a motherboard that doesnt see SATA drives as it [maxblast] can set up for that. How can it do that?
