q3radiant problem

Post by squirell man »

how do you set the maximum textures directories higher? I get this error message saying:

"maximum texture directory count exceeded, dropping 70 directories"

this gets really annoying because some of the best textures are in the U's and Y's.

Goto Edit->Preferences and uncheck "Use PAK/PK3 Files". This will decrease the ammount of directories dropped, but only because it ignores .pk3 files. I don't know of a better fix unfortunately.

no shit... you don't set the maximum texture directory count. I told you a way to get a bit further down the list without stopping use of q3radiant. That's as good as it gets, either switch to a better editor or delete some texture directories.

Yep, it's virtually unlimited.
