Backstrom has 20 wins... jesus why do i even talk hockey with a homer retard like you?

How many Finnish goalies have won a Stanley Cup or international championship?

Your lunch of Finnish salam is ready. :icon10:

orly? It was Kipper's Stanley Cup run in 2004 that began the movement. You also forget it was Jussi Markkanen who gave the Oilers everything they needed to beat Crapolina. You'll see this year.

International championships? Looks like Antero Niittymaki upset you when he shutout your precious Canuck team and crushed your Olympic hopes :olo:

Sportsnet Ontario will have the Leafs and Thrashers tonight at 7. Must-win for Leafs (pretty much all 7 of their next games are otherwise they're fucked).

And ouch Islanders. DiPietro out indefinitely with post-concussion syndrome. The Islanders are all but finished this season.
And another big Western Conference duel tonight between the Flames and the Wild. It's gonna be another intense night in the NHL :icon14:

Fights have gone up in the past couple weeks. Last year's fisticuffs total was passed in that span \o/

With a 4-2 win over the Bruins on Thursday, the Penguins moved past the idle Devils into first in the Atlantic Division and second overall in the Eastern Conference.

Sorry Sanction, you guys lost a doozy :smirk:

What a great game at the ACC, Leafs win 5-4 in OT from a blast from Kaberle, his second of the night. Also a fan went into cardiac arrest and had to be resuscitated.
The other teams in the east won their respective games with the exception of the Islanders.

It was a clinic, 1-0 Calgary in the shootout. Both goalies showed why Finland is the dominating goaltending force.
hey spazduh, want to see want the definition of dominating?

1. Sidney Crosby (Pit) 117
2. Joe Thornton (SJ) 109
3. Vincent Lecavalier (TB) 106
4. Martin St. Louis (TB) 101
5. Dany Heatley (Ott) 100
6. Marian Hossa (Atl) 97
7. Marc Savard (Bos) 93
Jaromir Jagr (NYR) 93
Daniel Briere (Buf) 93
10. Joe Sakic (Col) 91

Eight of the top ten in scoring are Canadian. Now that's dominance.

Nothing to worry about, we handled Vancouver alright, even though defensive breakdowns cost them two goals :/

i think you're safe now.
the avs made a heroic push there, but with the flames matching them win-for-win last week, its basically over.
that said... IMO, if you don't beat them in the two remaining head-to-head games; you don't deserve the spot.
