Quake 3 1.32 mouse problem

Hi, I'm new here, and was wondering about why my mouse acts weird when I play quake. I have a G5 with the latest drivers, and setpoint 3.3. What usually happens is that I make a flick shot, and then my mouse acts as if it is still clicking, which makes me fire continuously. I have tried exiting setpoint, reinstalling Quake 3 and patch 1.32, and some other things, but nothing has solved the problem.

Also, This problem only occurs with the 1.32 patch, and the old quake works perfectly. I think it might have to do with direct3D, but I'm not sure, since I'm not an expert on this stuff.

So I was just wondering if you guys could help fix my problem?

Juggernaught (1): Try going to the game console and changing in_mouse from 1 to -1 then running in_restart.

This should change the mouse 'system' q3 uses back to the old system. Its a workaround though, the new system has some benefits that you'll lose.

jugger, i know you from one server where you play excessive plus modification, and you mouse jumps like crazy because you don't have that modification, so search google for it and download it.
