Lost, Heroes, Countdown with Keith Olbermann (mostly because it's very comfortable to watch on the MSN website), TDS sometimes, Bill Maher sometimes
ATM I'm watching Babylon 5 and Raines. Bab5 I'm somewhere in the middle of season 3 and Raines I watched the first two episodes.
waiting for: BSG Season 4, Dexter Season 2 (although if it's the same as the 2nd book I might not bother)

saw an episode of csi:miami (the one with that wincing ginger twat, not william petersen) the other day - had me in fucking bits.Nightshade wrote:Oops, forgot CSI. The original mind you, the others lick donkey balls.
there were these college kids playing out a video game in real life. one of the cops had to play the game to figure out what they'd do next. it was like stepping into jack thompson's wet dream. is it supposed to be surreal comedy? i thought it was a regular cop show.

It's supposed to be a cop drama, that's the problem. Both the NY and Miami shows are complete shitbuckets. The original is far and away the best of the three. Great writing, dialogue, cast, plots, all of it. I mean come on, they did an episode about furries and one of them got blasted by a hunter.
It doesn't get better than that.

If you are not a scifi nerd, skip this post.
I might add that Bab5 has my favorite TV moment:
G'Kar and Vir Koto are in the same elevator just after the Centauri bombed the Narn homeworld to hell. G'Kar just stares at Vir with his glowing red eyes. Vir gets more and more uncomfortable, then suddenly turns around and says:
"Look, I'm sorry! I tried to stop them, but... They didn't listen - they never listen! I - I'm sorry..."
G'Kar just keeps staring at him, the elevator opens, G'Kar steps out, then suddenly turns around and draws a knife.
He slits his palm with the knife, and as each drop of blood falls to the floor, he says:
"Dead - dead - dead - dead - dead - How do you apologize to them?!"
"I - I can't!"
Then G'Kar say, crying and almost laughing a little bit at the same time: "THEN I - CAN NOT - FORGIVE..."
That was really awesome.

I watch Lost, Deadliest Catch, Ultimate Fighter 5, most UFC stuff, Scrubs, and then there's F1 and MotoGP.
only thing worth watching is real sports stuff but its pointless to try to record when you know the outcome

sorry - i took this to be a "post your own opinion and ignore everyone else's" type of thread so i didn't read your postMKJ wrote:MKJ wrote:and in Lost news;
End date set;
This announcement seems to mark a compromise, as ABC will have Lost for one more year, through season six, but for about the same amount of episodes they would have if the show had ended two years from now. The reason for this is that Lost will only have 16 episodes a season for its final three years, instead of the usual 22 to 24 episodes they've had in their first three seasons.
