The new Crackdown updates just may be the best EVER?

i got an update instantly. no new features though :E

why not wait till its actually up before updating xbox.com :E

When was the last time you played Crackdown? It might have been a small fix they did weeks ago that you only just got today, maybe? I went for a month without playing and a few days ago downloaded a patch.

And yea, they shouldn't have put up that announcement early.

nope, played it the day before yesterday. had the other patch (netcode, prolly) the week before.

only source im trusting now is majornelson.com, since he said he'd make a post when its actually available.

Picked a good week to have off again I see

I love the harpoon gun, pure class. I can climb buildings with it by stapling people to the wall... Fucking quality.

Anybody know how to reset the crime? Cant fine the option in the menus? I must be blind...

Nope. Stopped playing.. Evidently the new dashboard update requires something new to get steaming music to work. Thus im dicking with that.

Yep, i cant get it to work for the life of me.

WMP, Zune software. Nothings working. My xbox just keeps saying it cant find a PC sharing shit, yet WMP and the ZUNE both see the xbox.

Its really pissing me off since it worked before this update.

havent tried music myself either.
i always had some mp3s that just wouldnt play though, much like it now finds some vid files, creates a thumbnail for them, but wont play

i wanna stream pr0n to my beamer dammit :icon32:

Thought Crackdown was awesome before... after the update I'm amazed. It got better! Still no 4-player mode, but maybe with enough bitching on their forums it'll come. I haven't downloaded the Gettin' Busy Pack yet as I don't have the $10 until I can get to the bank and deposit my check. But for now keys to the city will probably hold me over. Especially in Co-op.

Ya, I can't figure out how that gun works. It's like the rockets just go in random places. But thats a mild rant on top of everything that makes this game fun.

If you target a car, they'll home in on it. Not as accurately as the proper gun, mind you.
