You may have been asked this before, but how could I get fritzkrieg to work in baseQ3? He is from team arena, and though I don't rly like TA, I do like that model/skin. When I try to get the model to work in baseQ3, it seems fine until I load a map. I get an error message saying that lower.md3 failed to load. Someone said that they had gotten fritz to work in baseQ3, but they didn't say how.

You need to extract him out of the pak0.pk3 file that is in your TA Folder, and put his parts in their own .pk3 file so you can put it in your baseq3 folder....minded you have to make him a new botfile. When you do this though, you can never put that pk3 up for download or run a server with sv_allowDownload "1" enabled which would let people download it from your server...as both would be illegal.

Extract his sounds out, and put them in the .pk3 also.

I've had fritz, pi, james, and janet in my baseq3 since after I got it...their fun for regular deathmatch. I personally like Gaunt the most though. It's takes alot more skill to rebuild James and Janet over Pi and Fritzkrieg. I won't tell on how to pull the others out though, as what I just said above is how you take them out and build them. I just spent alot of time opening up the .pk3 files for bots from Polycount....there all set up pretty much the same.

So, I can't use him online, because that would be illegal?
Thanks for the help though. I'll still put him in my baseQ3 folder, but I hadn't thought of allowdownload:\
