Hey, what do you know about lens price in Bangkok? If it's much cheap than in Holland, I'm going to ask my father to bring me a Nikon 17-55 f2.8 that retails here for 1400
Technology in Thailand is equally expensive as in Benelux. I went looking for lenses with a mate in Bangkok but there wasn't a huge price difference. You'd better of buying the lens in Germany. If you live close to Aken go to http://www.ac-foto.com.

w3rd
though, you can get the VAT back at the airport so its sort of less expensive.
could get an imac for about €300 cheaper, and my brother got a guitar for about the third of the dutchee price.
... although a guitar hardly falls under the tech catagory
Here is my weak attempt at taking a pic of the moon by holding my camera up to the eyepiece of my telescope (hi-tech astrophotography there.) I'm learning real quick that I suck at photography, but I figured I'd give this a shot for the hell of it since I had the scope out to see Venus and the Moon next to each other last night.
That's actually surprisingly good consider what you are working with. I'd figure the combination of telescope, shaky hands, low light conditions would have turned out a lot worse.
You tried pulling clouds out of this?? There's just some things you shouldn't try to do. You could, however, learn to shoot when the light is just right that you can get the clouds you want along with a properly exposed landscape. You could also try using a graduated ND filter to balance everything out.
Well, I'd never actually add in coulds unless I was doing it as an exercise. That one up there took me about 30 minutes. Most of that was spent sifting through a few shots I had on flickr with luminosity that fit the landscape and enough clouds to fill the sky.

Heh, they have exactly the same prices at that site. We're kinda fucked here in Europe. I saw a few stores with cams and lenses in Austria, France and Belgium and they were all more expensive than here in Holland. And we do have ridiculous high prices compared to Japan and the States (mainly due to the Euro).

I prefer actual critique, but every "critique" group I've run into is some kind of bullshit handholdy positive comments only thing where you get banned for saying something critical.
