detroit has always had an easy ride through the regular season.

edit: That's like saying the Red Sox curse didn't apply in 1986 because they made it to the World Series.. even if they didn't win.

after that massive run of injuries they never started to click again.
hell between december and game 5 of the series with the rangers the whole team didn't have one practice together.
IMO lindy fucked up coaching this time.
