Whats a good network monitor? IE for traffic, what station its from, etc.

Anything with a trial we can test out on the network would be fab.. The one we have kinda blows chunks....

are you looking for sniffing software? if so, i use wireshark (formerly ethereal), but it's linux only. you can try MS's offering:

We have a linux box. could give it a shot..

just want something thatll basicly give me every peice of info it can about every node on the network.. Tired of our bandwidth going down the tubes and not really knowing why.

And the MS one.. Is not exactly what i want.. i mean, it sorta works. but its not really great.

Out of the stuff ive tried, it seems the nicest thus far. And pretty cheap too.
