Having trouble with Local games
Hi. Recently I haven't been able to view any LAN games or Local games on any game I own. I figured there has to be someone who has had this problem before me, and would have a few steps I could take to try to fix it, or narrow down the problem. Thanks.

Heh. Sorry about the lack of details. Usually I provide too much and it is too cumbersome to read the post.
I use no software firewall. I'm trying to connect to games using Hamachi. I CAN connect through Hamachi's IP, but I CAN'T see server listings. Example games: I can't see my friend's Quake 3 server (when it is up with 4 players and I can join through IP), I can't see my friend's Grand Theft Auto 2 game (when it is up and two other people are in it) so I'm positive the problem is not with them, it's gotta be me. I haven't tried any other games yet.
I'm using Windows XP. The Windows XP Firewall is turned off. I use no firewall. I do use AVG Free Edition.

Tricky. If you go into your networking area in control panel is there an entry for the Hamachi pseudo-adapter? I can't remember if it uses one but VPN programs usually do.
If it has one, you could try setting the TCPIP Metric for that connection to 1, and the Metric for your regular LAN connection to 2
Also if you're connected to the Internet without a Firewall, that's a bit worrying... You must have some form of connection protection somewhere along the line?

I do have a Hamachi entry, but not a "pseudo-adapter".
I do have UPnP off, could that be the problem? I recently used a program that turned off a few services to make my computer speed up, but one of those "unessential" services may be the problem. If you are "service-savvy" maybe you could tell me which ones I must have enabled.
Yes, they can see my game and join my game when I host.
