I've never been big on this racing game, or any racing game for that matter. But when I look at these cars, they don't look like anything I'd want to race. I mean, they just look so plain. Do they not have any badass cars you can race? I guess I don't understand.
Did you paint those cars? I need to learn how to make designs like that.
Here are some lame shots I took (didn't get things focused well):
I was bored and made a real simple xbox360 inspired car. The only real modifications I had to do to the layers/decals was to insert other decals to the same color as the paint to cover up the borders of the xbox stickers, and I had to skew the squiggly lines to get the shapes I wanted. And for some reason there is no invert horizontal or vertical shortcut, so getting the symmetrical wavy lines on the top of the car was a bit more of a pain in the ass than I expected. But this is the first customized car I've done that involved anything more than just painting and adding decals.
Dont you think redness on the brakes are a little exagerated? I've seen them irl and they don't look THAT bad.. Looks like you could catch the car on fire with the game's view.
Also, in the first picture posted, whats with the aerodynamic peices underneth the car? What do they do exactly..
