Best sci-fi about dimensions? (not books)

What's the best sci-fi about dimensions?

I find the best sci-fi, or the sci-fi the most interesting to me, is about dimensions and inter-dimensional travel.

Maybe there isn't much media about this type of science fiction, so you could just list all that you know rather than name the best.

Not books, though, though comics are OK.

What I've found so far is:

Some episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation had this as their subject - I don't know which episodes, but I saw about two of them.
Some issues of Ultimate Fantastic Four - I've just read at least the first set of them (one can download scans of them).
In The Terminator, Reese suggested the time travel was dimensional cause it was "one possible future".
Some episodes of Red Dwarf - I don't know which episodes, but I've seen at least some of them.
Star Gate the TV series was about dimensions but I don't think it was that good really. I haven't seen the film cause I heard it wasn't that good.
Sealab 2021 had a "Bizarro" episode which I read was a reference to another dimension in the Superman comics, which I haven't read, I'm not sure how interesting that would be. I've seen the Sealab 2021 episode, though.
An issue of 2000 AD was about travel between Batman's dimension and Judge Dredd's dimension.
Teenage Mutant Hero/Ninja Turtles had some inter-dimensional stuff in it, but what I saw of it wasn't very extensive.

So, I find this subject interesting and would like to watch more films, or TV series episodes, or read comics about it.

So, do you know any others?

Oh yeah, Doom and Doom3 were about dimensional travel, but not much. No games, please, though, cause they probably won't run on my system. Games generally don't go into detail much about things, but I might be interested to hear about some if they really are good.

(I suppose Q3A was about dimensional travel aswell, and Quake1, but again I am looking for something with more detail.)

Edit: Ah, I forgot the TV series Sliders, that was good.

um, I take it you mean "dimensions" in the pop-cultural way, not in the scientific one

It's language, how it's evolved. If the scientific community don't accept the way language has developed then they won't be understood.

as for movies et al; Eternal Sunshine to a certain extent, and/or Being John Malkovich. Matrix, obviously.
Lost Highway. Mulholland Drive if youre either stoned or clever enough to get it.

theres loads out there. your statement that there isnt much media about the subject is false.

I'm gonna disagree with these, since the other world in these movies is internal, a dream, the subconscious mind. It's not real and nobody actually goes there (except in BJM they do physically go inside so that sortof counts).

It wasn't the budget that was lacking, it was the stories.

I'll watch the film now.

I disagreed with him aswell but I haven't seen those films, just knew the gist of them, or one or two of them anyway, so I couldn't form an arguement.

It's not an alternate reality, it's an extension of reality. I read that Eternal Sunshine is about changing memories; well that's the same reality it's just a different way of looking at it.

Also, you said The Matrix (earlier), that's about virtual reality not alternate reality. A virtual reality is, again, an extension of reality.

Also, I know the tune those lyrics are from, but is the speeded up sample from a film or something? I'd like to see it if it is.
