I'm guess they are High, Low and... Average? Ample? I dunno, any thoughts on what they mean?

~Just a bog standard one I believe. Its a 500w one from the looks of it, with a strange table on the side saying all manner of differnt voltages and all sorts.Kills On Site wrote:Well I am fairly certain they are settings for the fan speed on the PSU. What brand of PSU is it?
My question I guess is if the PSU is 500W like it says, does that switcer only change fan speed, or is will it lower the 500w? Is that a daft question?

It is usually just a fan setting, if you were really stressing the PSU and it were to be hot and you had it on low then the performance might be affected, otherwise it is just for how loud you want it. I would assume that A is a setting for as needed or variable. I would keep it on whatever it is, maybe change it to see the differences.

its a fan question, Most upper PSUs control that on there own.. yours has the option for the user to change it.
Changing the Fan speed will Affect the Temperatures, and infact that MAY Change the load rating of the PSU.. Just leave it on what ever setting you are comfertable with the noise level and be done with it.
