i bought a sound card, but the sound is still coming from the speakers. what do i do to fix this?

hello dear expert,
the other day i turned on my monitor and all was well. after i quit my hard drive and went to sleep, i had noticed the monitor lamp changed colour. should i buy a new monitor or change the lamp?
thanks,
anne

I am an avid golf fan and the other day I was perusing the electronics section of a large store. I noticed a small box that said "geforce video card" on it and also saw it "comes with drivers". i immediately bought it but upon opening it at home, i did not see golf clubs in the box. Is it a rebate?

a question writes:
i am very computer literate. i am also aware there are things called software and things called hardware. i know software is "soft" because it is in your computer and you cannot touch it. when it comes out, it "hardens" and thats where "hardware" makes sense. but i bought a computer and it has a "hard drive". where can i buy a soft drive for this computer? the specifications are Dell PC.

I wanted to buy a computer game for my son, but upon reading the side of the box, i noticed it said a fast computer is recommended. i went home and tried to time the computer with my son's stop watch, but i did not know where to start. how can i time the computer to find out if it has a fast speed?

Friend of mine that worked at the Microsoft helpdesk ages ago had a customer on the line that needed a win 95 reinstall. So he begins walking her through the thing, but all of a sudden she sais "Well, the second floppy disk was a bit of trouble, but there's no way i'm going to be able to put the third one in there as well... what do i do now?"
