divers that turn left without indicating or checking mirrors

Post by neh »

are cunts ...

just got home after nearly being killed by some silly little girl in a shit vauxhall that did this me ..

lol - laughing now - but fuck me -

severn sisters cross roads (4 lane cross rds in north london) - she basically just bangs a left without warning as I'm going about 18 mph beside her.

slam on the brakes, tumble over the handle bars, rol across the road - look up just in time to see the back wheel of said car pass my nose by about an inch ..

got some nasty gashes etc - but luckily landed on my back so no head injury, even more luck is that her car didn't rfoll over my head ..
\

cunts ..

a oub full of witnesses next to me all took photos of her car etc .. then when I went to have a go and get the police she was in bits - I left before she did -lol

fucking rogue cyclists my cunting arse ..

spend more time dodging "herds" of pedestrians and idiot drivers than any pedestrian ever has had to dodge cyclists..

.. bah ...

I was confused there for a while until I realized that in the rest of the world it applies to cunts who turn right without indicating or checking the mirror

and yes, agreed

eh? I was exactly where you'd expect a cyclist to be. she admitted to my face that she didn't check her mirrors at all and didn't indicate. wouldn't have made any difference if I'd been wearing a fucking 50 foot illuminated sign on my head with the words .. "KEY FUCK NUT! THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE ON THE ROAD AS WELL YOU KNOW!" she'd still have nearly killed me ;)

hmm - but then I'd get fat and die of a heat attack at 40 instead of being crushed by a car at 35 ..

yeah, me too - this time it was just too out of the blue to do anything about it tbh .. I had no indication that she was going to do anything but continue in a straight line .. fuck it - she was so fucking scared by what she'd nearly done that I suspect she will religiously, mirror, signal then turn from now on

eh? you're not really getting this tbh m8 - but fair play - if you drive a long a straight road you're always passing other cars on the inside - else you'd never actually be able to move forward when the traffic was moving slower than you - but hey must be different where you come from - no idea tbh

nah sounds the same here just the other side

i jus keep an extra eye out for turners when i pass exits/entrances

but fair play sinse i have the right of way i shouldnt have to tho.

Bleh, I developed some kind of sixth sense for drivers that were not paying attention to me when I ride at a pretty early age, so far I've depended on that and got away with things.

Busy cities without bike paths are a different ballgame though, I just won't ride them. Not worth it unless you're a courier and getting paid for the general defiance of death.

just hate the tube m8 - with a passion - would rather blow out the cobwebs twice a day and take the risk - at the end of the day the stress of tube travel would prolly kill me sooner -

It's just like riding a motorcycle - assume you're in every cunts blindspot and they're all trying to kill you.

what's wrong with the tube? only lived in london for a bit, but i sort of liked it. if you didn't have an anecdote for the pub at the end of work, you would by the time you got there if you caught the tube.
