Well, this is pretty strange and I've noticed it since getting my Logitech X-530 5.1 speaker system a year and a half ago. If I plug my headphones into the front right speaker, it doesn't matter whether the speaker is on or off, sound will still come through the headphones. Also, the volume knob won't control the headphone volume. I'm not sure if this is normal or not, but it's been the case with any headphones I've tried it on.
It's really not a big deal because the headphones have a volume slider so I can still work/game/listen to music at late night without waking anyone up, but I'd just like to understand why it happens
I hope that came out the way I intended, I can't find a reason for it :icon30:
Also, soundcard is a Creative Soundblaster Live! 24-bit 5.1 with EAX HD.
