Incredible effects and fine action sequences.

But else, it sucks. I mean, ohh me guardian, ohh my saviour, are you hurt, nooo dont hurt him.
We MUST save our guardian so he can save us. Let me puke please.
The girl running among guns and blast rockets and risks her life for the saviour is just done to many times in all movies.

But why even include it in the script, lag of imagination ?

Yeah i know, it's a comedy film.

I'm still conflicted, should I watch this in theatres or not? I don't really want to reward Michael Bay.

If you like watching action movies in theatres, this movie is great for that.

It would lose a lot of it's appeal if watched in shakey-cam style on a computer screen, because the appeal of this particular movie lies in the visuals, not in the story/characters.

But I understand your reservations, I feel a bit dirty for supporting Michael Bay through paying for a ticket at the cinema.

I'm sure that Michael Bay doesn't give a shit what you do one way or the other so you may as well just go see it. You're really only hurting yourself by not going.

How so? It's a visually appealing movie. The best place to take advantage of that appeal is in the theatre. Hence what I said.

I wouldn't go as far as saying that it would hurt me though. More like it would hurt the movie.

lots of people have a descent home theater setup now, that rule doesn't apply to everyone anymore. I have a 42" ( I forget) pioneer plasma and a surround system for it, which sounds and looks great but I did watch it in theaters just because I didn't want to wait.
Granted, dwnloading this film right now is kinda ignorant.

I don't care how great your home theater setup is. If you're watching a handheld camcorder tape of the movie it's going to look like shit. Now stop talking because I am 100% right.

thats a different discussion innit.
what youre saying is "master tape > bootleg", regardless of setup or theatre.

[edit] missed the reference about internet admission. so i see what sparked this. carry one.

Quite right, cams and screeners are 100% crap. I'll wait until the DVD release, unless I'm pressed by a social group to see it in theatres.
