I was just wondering if one or some of the more "pro" ish members here would mind taking a look at one or two of my maps and fix anything they see wrong and then teach me about what was wrong and what they did to fix it?
I would really like to learn some of the more quality topics of mapping that have been discovered since I been gone. Some troubles I know I am having I am sure are old issues, but I got out of mapping before they were resolved I think.
I have done plenty of searches, but I have 2 problems.
1. Most of the places I find that seem like they could help seem to have lost their domain.
2. I am not really sure how to word my searches to find what I am looking for since I don't know or understand the problem.
Anyway anyone willing? If so I will link a few of my maps to work with.
Thanks in advance guys.

Seriously, you're probably not going to get any takers. If people actually have time to fix stuff, they're probably going to fix their own stuff.
On the other hand, if you were to link a map or two (I wouldn't suggest more than that), you'd probably get a few people willing to at least give the map a look and provide some feedback on ways to improve.
Was there anything particular that you're concerned with fixing, or is this more general? I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're worried about, or how you wish to improve...
I am willing to give help however I think that you might be missing the point a tad bit.
See what most mappers do, myself included, is release playable levels and then receive feedback like that.
When you are a starter working on levels it matters less if your level is super efficient or built perfectly. What you really need to do is make something that is visually interesting at least somewhat mimics the visual quality of other levels you enjoy playing and also plays well enough to be interesting or fun for others to view. It doesnt need to be the best level in the world, however it does need to be attractive enough for others to want to take a peek. At this point you will be more likely to get the truly informative feedback you desire.
Asking for feedback at this point in the road would be much less useful. Feedback is also not always a good thing too, just because you get it doesn't make it gospel. This is why it is so important for you to just take a risk and release a level or two and see what people say. Otherwise you could be just spending time being a perfectionist with nothing to perfect.
OK, I see what you guys are saying. Basically to be blunt I went about this ass backwards.
Ok I will pack up one of my CTF maps and one DM and post a link to them and see what folks find wrong with it and then at that point ask about how to fix it if I can find answers in a search.
Or the easiest way is to state what you are having problems with - show us some in-game shots, or map editor images, and some of the pros around here will likely have some good ideas
