Quake3World.com banned in China

Post by Eraser »

http://www.greatfirewallofchina.org/

This site shows you whether or not an URL is blocked in China. Apparantly Quake3World isn't available over there. Such a shame.

That thing is bullshit.. It says my domain is blocked, but it gets nailed by chinese bots all of the time looking for the old asp.net board I wrote.

If you think that rocked, you should see my pharmacy student/employer placement app. .Net 3.5, DLINQ SQL interface, Active Directory-based user management, AJAX, etc. Maybe it's time to redo the forum with all that :paranoid:

Impressive. I wish we would make the move up to at least version 2 so I could use DLINQ :tear:

V.1 was waaaay better than 2. The IDE is 2 is almost a fucking nightmare compared to VS 2003 and Orcas isn't much better :(

'Cept it isn't true, 'cos otherwise I'd have to go through a proxy to visit this place. In all the time I've been in this country, Nanny has shown all of no interest in Q3W.
