what i don't get is if jesus is supposed to be of the davidic lineage, why isn't it mary that is related to david, not joseph, because she was a virgin apparently when he was born, right, so wouldn't that mean that joseph didn't bone her, and thus wasn't really jesus's father and thus jesus wasn't of the davidic lineage and thus the bible really doesn't make sense there about that....oh wait.....
