Good for a smirk or two (or three)

Probably old, but:

Featuring important talking points such as 'Nuclear Warfare is in America's Best Interest' and 'Environmentalism Hurts America'. I give you an excerpt of the latter:
Not even animals like the tree-infested ghettos known as forests. Some squirrels will wake up in the middle of the night to find a vine trying to grow around their necks. Unfortunately, many squirrels never wake up at all, leaving behind only their lifeless bodies dangling from the treetops.

Trees regularly fall on wildlife in the forests. These unprovoked attacks paralyze the animals, leaving them completely incapable of feeding themselves. Sometimes adorable furry creatures trip over fallen logs, shattering the bones in their legs. These animals usually die a long tedious death from starvation. Concussions in forests are a regular occurance. I don't understand why animal lovers are so against this. Obviously, most animals hate forests.

The Center for Rational Debate is a non-partisan organization dedicated to the promotion of sanity and clear
thinking in American Politics. In the pursuit of those goals, we have created an online resource for parents, students,
and community members to learn about today's greatest controversies. The articles that follow have been
edited to ensure that they are free of logical fallacies and that core American values, such as
freedom and democracy, are always upheld and never criticized for any reason.

The Center for Rational Debate is a family-friendly educational resource.

It's pretty damn obvious, but at the same time, the line dividing the plausible and extreme parody seems to shrink with the passing of time.
