Uh oh... newbie alert

I've only recently bought quake 3 arena and i love to play it. Problem is I can't get multiplayer to work. I tried to not be annoying and read through the help threads, I downloading All-Seeing Eye... not quite sure what to do with it... I only learned so much from the ex-boyfriend. I download pr 1.32 and pr 1.32c and im not too sure where to go from there...

Well, if you have Quake 3 Arena installed and the 2 patches installed, then you should be ready to go!

Punkbuster is an anti-cheat program that needs updated. go get the PB_Setup program here.........

After you run that, sart Qauke 3 Arena and select "Multiplayer" and make sure the "Internet" is chosen as source. Hit the [Space] bar to refresh the list.

I can finally connect to multiplayer (via the game) but PB keeps kicking me out... I downloaded the updates from the PB site but I don't know what else to do about that...

Search this forum for "pbsetup", there are dozens of threads with instructions on how to update PB.
