edit: nevermind, google says it can..
edit: also Dave, what settings did you use on the photo of the girls playing lacrosse in the rain? Did you use a tripod?
no tripod, just pouring rain and stadium lighting... The stadium lighting created really nice fill and the rain did its part. The right lighting when you take the shot is far more critical than what you can do in PS... That said, the shadow/highlight adjustment is your friend as long as you're not an idiot with it.
sweet! I was just about to say it was news worthing shit but decided to go get some ice cream instead. I was also about to comment "get closer to that smoke!" Hahaha.
Back to some industrial night lights goodness. Notice the nice ghosting going on...crap!
Nice! That looks more like an illustration than a photograph.

Would you guys ever consider a sigma lens? The Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG MACRO HSM seems like a very good alternative for the Canon EF 70-200 F/2.8. It apparantely has good performance and is much cheaper then the Canon. Just wanna know what you think about Sigma.
I have the Canon, I'd buy it again... The color and sharpness are on par with a prime. I wouldn't buy it with IS because if you're shooting something you need IS for, you should probably get closer and use a shorter lens.

So rather save up for the Canon then buying the Sigma then?
Just been checking Thai camera sites and they offer the 2.8 for 39,500 baht or €963 ($1,300). Seems quit cheap compared to €1300 overhere. Might ask my father to buy me one
