I still play the DC online (yes, it's 2008). There are still players playing DC/Q3 from about 60 servers that still run today. Few are detectable from Q3 server search, but gamespy finds more. It does not find the Spain servers (30 servers) but there are sites that can point you to them.

Good to know there are still some folks on there. I tried playing quake3 on a dreamcast again on my friend's DC. WOOOW, I'm spoiled with 125fps and an optic mouse. It was horrible lol. But man o man did I ever play the shit out of the game back in the day. Great community.

i did the same thing about two years ago and got nauseated (literally) probably because of the framerates. it wasn't pleasant, but back when i didn't know any better it was an awesome time and yes, the community was great.
This is great, I'm definitely gonna get it. I wonder how they'll incorporate strafe jumps and stuff like that thought. I also wonder if they'll go the extra mile and incorporate a map editor on the 360, that would rock.
Not true, there's a map editor for far-cry which works fine with a controller. I'm sure it's possible.
I was also thinking about strafe jumping and I think it could be possible, the right analogue would strafe when pushed diagonaly left and up or right and up, and you look around with the other... dunno, it seems plausible anyway.
Not that I'm saying a controller is better than a mouse and keyboard.
I don't know what you guys are talking about, strafing can easily be done with a controller. And map editing could easily be done as well. Although I doubt they do it with an XBLA game...
You people need to pull your heads out of the computer gaming gutter...
