Also I am using IE6 and Links do still open in the same window. I have exited out of Q3W a few times because I am so acustomed to links opening in a new window.

I do really like links opening in a new window better, but I am neither the majority nor in control of the site so....

Looks fine to me... You can set FF to open links in the same window/different tab. Maybe it's a browser setting.

I don't remember them opening in the same window... but then I always right click or command+click on them to open in a new tab... I never directly click on links

also, btw, i think the _blank issue has to do with the q3w theme. nothing blanks for me atm; target is set to nothing in the code

Drop the "top" link and move the report post icon to under the avatar, IMO. Get rid of that entire row.
