Half-Life Movie

Post by xer0s »

Why has this not been done yet? I always thought it was a great story and would be a great movie if it was done right (ie. not like Doom). But who would play Gordon? Don't know why I thought of this. I wasn't even sure if someone didn't do a cheap film so I searched imdb.com and didn't find anything. Surely a script is in the making...

Yeah I thought the same. And the gunfire sounds were dead on HL2's sfx too. Whether they were both realistic or both just very similar, not sure.

Oh yea it did. I never thought about that but I did have a familiar feeling the whole time. More like HL 2 than 1.

thats one of the Main reasons why i liked it so much...

i was getting some mad flashbacks to "Opposing Forces" as well as HL2.

The only problem is that Freeman doesn't talk. So I guess no one has any idea what he's like in regards to his character. They would have to create all that for a movie, which may or may not work well with the current plot.

You know he's a MIT graduate of Theoretical Physics and he's (IIRC) 32 years of age and that's about it.

I wonder what happened to Adrian Sheppard from Opposing Force. He's been MIA in HL2 and I rather liked playing a trained soldier.

Have you played trough the Half Life 2 singleplayer?
That is the question many characters in the game ask, then wonder how he blows to shit the whole Combine army.
