Two Burners in One Machine
I jsut got a new Lite-On DVD Burner with Lightscribe to put into a computer with a CD Burner and a DVD-ROM drive. I've heard that having two burners in a computer can cause issues. Is this still true, or can I have the CDRW and the DVd-burner in the computer since the CDRW drive can burn faster and would help spread the load of CD and DVD burning to two drives instead of one?

No, I want to use the CD burner for burning CDs and te DVD burner for burning DVDs. I know the DVD burner can do it all, but I have the CD burner from earlier, and I just feel like no working one as much. I only ask because in a computer class some people mentioned that having multiple burners in one machine can cause issues, this was a yearor twoago though.

Never had a problem with having two burners in a computer. Ever. I also wouldn't worry about "splitting the load" since they don't easily wear out and even if they do x number of years down the road, they're cheap enough these days.

trully
and if the dvd burner does it all, get rid of the cdrw
*hugs DVD DL burner*
