Roman textures?

Post by scythe »

A quick question. I'm thinking of building a Roman-styled map soon and I'm curious if anyone has done any Roman themed maps/textures before, for Quake 3?

The closest I have come to Roman style texture and geometry style is with my level mythica.
Was a pretty long time ago though. And it was more Greek than Roman.

I have never done anything meant to be just Roman though they did take a lot of styles from Greek architecture. *shrugs*

It's a Q3 map called Gladiators Warfare...it's probably the closest thing that I've seen to a roman style themed map. It's a small map so...it doesn't have a ton of textures but maybe something will stick out to you..

There was also 'last days of pompeii', which iirc was Amphetamine's.
Whatever....
