terrible all around, even the acting from Morgan Freeman. he makes a terrible bad guy.

don't bother.
He was good in Dreamcatcher :)

Bourne Ultimatum - 10/10

What a superb movie and a great way to end the trilogy. It was smart, fast, action-packed, and kept me interested from the opening chase scene to the final showdown. The ending was just perfect. I think the Bourne trilogy easily rivals LoTR and the original Star Wars in quality.

Devils Rejects - 8/10 For a cheesy horror flick it was great.

Pathfinder - 3/10 Interesting effects but the acting and dialogue were terrible and the vikings were so historically inaccurate it was pathetic.

Fun With Dick And Jane (classic version) - 6/10

Overall a decent movie with good acting, although it was stale compared to the funny Jim Carrey version.

Check out "District B-13" (released as "District 13" in some places). It's french with english subtitles, but it stars the inventor or inventors of parkour, which is the crazy urban acrobatic type stuff demonstrated by that negro Bond chases at the beginning of Casino Royale. Every character in D13 is like that, it's all through the movie. Seeing it on a big screen was incredible.

The sick parkour was that film's only redeeming feature.

Not sure why you cunts rated it so low. Excellent film and a masterclass in direction.

Totally agree there Foo.

All those Bourne films are top class, I'd say on par with any Bond film. 10 points

anyone watching masters of science fiction on ABC? it's hosted by stephen hawking no less, and has a different bunch of fairly well-known actors in every week, like john hurt and brian dennehy in the last one, about some mutants on a space gulag

http://abc.go.com/specials/mastersofscifi.html

the premises of each story are pretty interesting, but there's just one problem: the show is TOTAL SHIT. jesus raptor christ i can't believe how badly written this show is. the direction isn't much better (hint: the gulag one was directed by jonathan frakes). even 'invasion' was better than this

3/10, and that's just for the unintentional laughs

the zombie diaries - 2/10

told through a series of unlikely video diaries, it's the story of sub-romero zombies overrunning an alternate universe earth populated almost entirely by sobbing vaginas.

Perfume - 7/10

Although no real suspense, the atmosphere was a pleasant mix of historical drama and fairy tale. Plus points for a couple of stunningly beautiful redheads (plus the tasteful nudity). I do think that you need to be in the right mood to enjoy this one - you shouldn't expect your standard murder mystery thriller, rather something more "emotional".

Two Showtime series (Brotherhood, Dexter)...both of their first seasons 8/10.

Brotherhood: a dash of West Wing sprinkled atop a healthy turd of the Sopranos. Verdict? Delicious.

Dexter: A serial killer with a rule-following conscience...provocative premise. It will be interesting to see how the writers walk the tightrope with his 'secret life' in the second season. If they get too cute, the whole kaboodle will devolve into gay. Here's hoping that doesn't happen.
