yeah, im still on my first 360 and ive had mine over a year and a half. definitely get a ps3 if that is what you want, its just a shame pretty much everyone on this board has a 360 and you wont be able to play with any of us.

You really should get both if you can afford it.

If you get a Euro Elite, the problems pretty much nailed. If you get a US Elite, its a lucky dip unless you have a newer console.

In the uk, from what I can gather from the interwebs, if you buy an Elite, or a Core/Pro with HDMI, you should be fine.

Either way I wouldn't trust them. MS may have made a kick as console tha wipes the floor with the PS3, but they seriously have some damn issues with these things thats made me think twice about future purchases with them.
