Stunning maps - Screenshots

Post by Pext »

Hi folks,

i plan to print some screenshots of awesome quake 3 maps to put them on my wall.

this is a list of my candidates:

Sparth - Nunuk
Kleskonian Curves - Nunuk
graviton - redfella
cajun hell - stormshadow
valentine - tequila!
hot place - thefury/sumatra
malfunctioning nano-constructor - bal
prayer's nest - Hipshot

what maps would be your choice?

Some may not consider some of these maps as "stunning", but they are all definitely in the up-ranks of all of the q3 maps made as far as being nice to look at.

ancient remains is being revised by dasprid atm. I think it would be better if you waited with that one.

Black Town

it's the only Q3 map that really pushed the envelope to the point of insanity

yeah I know, there's a good half a dozen in there that are still incomplete maps, though they are still maps that deserve attention. The maps that are being made in this day and age are way outdoing alot of the maps in the past.

oh...I forgot to put in Pyramid of the Magician by Sock  which I consider to be one of the top three...whatever the other two are, could probably be argued over definitely.

Almost (if not all) of the above...

But one stands out for me, because of the simplicity and the genius of it:

quint was something else. i loved his maps, they were fun just to see wtf tripped a trap besides drooling over the visuals.
