Some medic questions

I'm trying to be a good medic but I'm having trouble finding the right combo regarding
quick acces to the defibrillators, usekey, medpacks and switching back to my weapon fast.
Can you tell me what works good for you? (just as a guideline)
Is it possible to make a bind were you auto-crouch while reviving?
And is there any way to drop those medpacks faster or, let's say, 4 in one drop?

I don't use the WSAD controls in FPS shooters. I use the arrow keys and pretty much the same configuration in almost every game. Page down is what I use for health packs, delete for defribrillators.



This is my keyboard. Notice the home, end, page down, etc. buttons are in a 3x2 formation.

RDFG is where it's at. Much more keys at easier reach

TFGH for me with surrounding keys for binds

Bind everything to their own key. No tricks.

Why would you need to crouch to heal? You can do it standing up, at least for GDF. Strogg is necessary to make yourself a smaller target.

Yeah you're right, no need to crouch as medic.
Those "fly-by" revives are hard though.
I think I found a good combo, but what's weird is that I have to actually
look down to find some keys. Seven years of Q3, hitting keys blind
and now all of a sudden I have to look?!

My online fps was fluxing around 60.
But I thought it was locked at 30? I didn't unlock it yet or anything :S

this game has a lot of keys. i use the single key stroke for both tools.

It was only locked at 30 for the initial open beta.

I think the focus of the revive hitbox is torso center and is small compared to ET.
Though vanilla et's is immense and etpro's, which most mods use, pretty big.

I hate being a Medic...Cant stand the hassle of trying to heal others. Probably as i dont know how to, but still, that is not the point!!! :P
