Foobar2000 Question

Post by Chupacabra »

So I just recently started to use Foobar2000 for mp3s and stuff. I like it well enough, but I wasnt sure how to add a file (by double clicking in windows) such that the file would automatically add on to whatever playlist I was listening to in Foobar.

Now whenever I double click a new song, Foobar erases all the songs in the display window and only puts the new song in there. I can't find the preference to change this. Any help please? Thanks in advance.

try Preferences → General → Always send to playlist (playlist name). you said playlist, so i'm assuming that's exactly what you're referring to.

cool, I got it, thanks!

i had to do close to what you said and put in "enqueu incoming files" (in the same section as you stated). the weird thing is that its in the command line section and im not using command lines (AFAIK...)

don't need it to do anything fancy, but its nice to know it has the capabilities. ill check out the hydrogenaudio forums.

i use to use winamp but it seemed to get kind of bloated. that and the fact that it kept asking me to update started to get annoying.

is foobar the best player out there at the moment?

imo, yes, although to customize it you have to have a little patience, but it's more flexible than any other player, imo.
