Random Going Back
My laptop, Toshiba Tecra A9, with Windows Vista and IE7 will randomly go back to the previous webpage, it seems to happen when my ginger is on the touchpad and I'm trying to do something, but it is very random and extremely annoying. Anyone know what could cause this, and what could stop it?

lolol
Also this has happened to me in IE7 and FF2. Using Windows XP and a standard Microsoft keyboard. I don't know why, but it sometimes happens on Q3W when I'm about to type.

So it only happens when I am only using the mouse, fingers not even on the keyboard. And it also seems to do it mainly when I am attempting the move the cursor to the left. I have also noticed that it does it while in the body of the website, so I'm not clicking the back button or anything.

Re: Random Going Back
Delete Synaptic Touchpad Driver if present.
Re: Random Going Back
Probably mouse gestures in your browser. They have it so when you click and sweep left, it goes back. Something like that; I haven't used it I've just read about it.
There's probably an option to turn off mouse gestures in your browser.

My touchpad driver is ALPS.
Well I just found an extra mouse menu that I had not been able to find before. There was a "browser support" object which I disabled, I also disabled tap clicking. So now I am happy with my touchpad.
