Recommend some Eau De Toilette?

Post by DRuM »

I don't know what to get anymore. I've always used Fahrenheit, Dolce & Gabanna and Aqua De Gio, but I'm bored of them. But those are all very distinctive and unique. I can't find anything else that excites me. Issy Miyaki is similar to Aqua De Gio but not as nice imo. I tried some Tommy on. It's ok, not sure it's me and it's also quite a dated scent now isn't it?

I have 3 samples of different smells on me at the moment and I couldn't remember which one is on my right wrist. You reminded me, it's hugo boss. Don't like it much though, too sweet.

My two favorites have always been Grey Flannel and Drakkar Noir. Both have been around awhile but it doesn't lessen their appeal. At least for me.

I have some Chanel Sport that's nice.

I've been thinking about getting something different lately too though - haven't bought anything new in a couple years.

CK Eternity, Aqua de Gio, Armani Mania, DKNY and Lacoste is on my shelf atm. Gio is possibly my favourite. Or Eternity. Not sure. They're all nice.

Thanks, I'm noting all of these. Except Drakkar Noir, I'm not THAT old. :|

I've also got these to check out that were mentioned to me elsewhere.

FcuK

Guerlain - L'Instant

Christian Lacroix - Noir

Calvin Klein - Truth

Diesel for men

Armani Mania ( Fjoggs mentioned this one too )

Black by Bulgari and Curve by Liz Claiborne are both quite nice.

Oh and guys, more than 1 spritz is always too much ;)

Please. Don't act like it's something your granddad use to wear. Grey Flannel came out 6 years before DN did. It's not like I recommended Brute or Old Spice.

Edit: Okay, okay. The guys here at work said they had both GF and DN but liked the newer scents better also.

Unforgivable under the Sean John label is one of the recommendations.
