I was actually planing to buy etqw, but that is until I played Team Fortress 2.

Not terribly excited about TF2, but can't wait for portal and episode 2. Anyone need my guest passes for HL2 and episode 1? Doubt it since you're all a bunch of nerds but the offer's there

I have Half Life 2 on my new account, it came with the Orange Box, but there is no HL2DM what gives? Doesn't the Half Life 2 Deathmatch come with HL2?

I have several steam games over several accounts, because I don't like having all the eggs in one basket.
Due to various reasons and VAC being one of them, so its annoying to keep switching. It would be nice to have the HL2DM on my Orange Box account also.

My steam downloader is going crazy right now stealling all of my bandwidth.
TF2 is really fun, been playing it since the beta came out.

Same here.. i'm getting the box for ep. 1 and 2 and portal.
I wish they included HL2 mp.. but i've been told it isent in the box.

I hate to pay for the HL2: episode 2 PACK instead of just the stand alone. I don't want the freaking pack I only want episode 2.

yep, and they made it Team dm aswell.

Btw, anyone (turbine) with the 360 version can you start on Ep. 1 right away or do you have to play HL2 first?
Since i played it on pc and dosent really wanna play it through a third time just to be able to play the episodes, i really hope you can start with ep. 1 right away.

you can start in ep1 if you want.
you get a game selection screen and since ep1 and 2 are considered 'new games' you can just jump in.

You can now purchase EP2 by itself. Purchase through Steam, it'll cost you $29.95.
If you're upset that it can't be purchased standalone through an actual store, blame retailers/gamers who complained about size of EP1.

grrr, I so want this, but looking at my monetary funds, I probably shouldn't :\ And my laptop may or may not run ep2/portal real well.

Anyone know what they're doing for the release of ep3? Another boxed release, or standalone?
