Cant open web pages

i was browsing the net, when sudenly every next page couldnt be loaded.. irc was running normal so was trilian all seeing eye..
i pinged http://www.google.com no response, but it pinged ip addresses without any loss or unusal delay. ive reset the modem and router, reset my network adapter, still, cant open web pages. then i have used system restore to restore it to yesterdays setings, still the same problem... things are working ok on other computers hooked on the same router. i wasnt channeing any settings on my pc or on the router coz for some reason i cant connect to it..

anyone have any idea whats going on?

oh, and i have reinstaled network adapter drivers, but nothing changed, still cant open sites...

open a command line and type

ipconfig /flushdns

I would suggest your DNS server has issues, but you said other computers on the same router are working OK, so I'm assuming the problem is local.
